Residency
Students admitted to the E-LLM program are required to complete two of their 24 credits in residence at NYU School of Law’s Greenwich Village New York campus. They may take up to 12 credits in residence if they wish. If they wish to take more, they may freely transfer into the part-time program.
During the inaugural year of the E-LLM, we will offer a compressed, one-credit course: Special Topics in Graduate Tax Study. This course will run from August 11-15, 2008, and will satisfy the residency requirement. Entering students are strongly encouraged to attend this unique program, which will introduce you to one another, Greenwich Village, and the New York University family and community.
Housing is available in the Law School's residences. Students would check in Sunday evening and check out Saturday morning. For more information about the Department of Residence Services, click here.
There are also a number of hotels in Manhattan that are located conveniently near the Law School. NYU has arranged for discounted student room rates with some of them. For more information, click here.
